An informal chat to listen to you and your vision.

The more information you can give us, the easier it is to present you with your ideal kitchen design and quote. 

This helps us build a picture of what we can achieve together. Once we have spent time discussing your requirements we will come back to you with some design ideas and a ball-park estimate. 

• Your full contact details
• A simple dimensioned floorplan.
• Ceiling height is useful as well as the way doors open. Boiler position or radiators etc. This doesn’t need to be a work of art, just something we can understand.

• Photographs are very helpful.
• Any architects or sales plans and any sketches you may have.
• We need to know if any walls are coming down or new doors will be going in.
• What appliances do you want to include? Makes and models at this stage are not super-important.
• We love it when people have picture albums or links to Pinterest boards, it’s great for conversation and quickly helps us all get on the same page.
• Finally, we need to know your guide budget and timeline.

[RIBA Stages 0 + 1 | Plan of Work - Pre-design & Feasibility]

Turning a brief into a project is where the real kitchen design work begins. Planning space, mechanisms, materials and aesthetics all to meet your budget and ambition.

First of all, we’ll carry out a detailed site survey. Then, armed with the Kitchen Project Brief, the site survey and your budget, we will design your kitchen tailored specifically to you.

Where necessary, we will refer to your architect and/or builder. We will finalise the following:

• space/layout
• functionality including mechanisms & lighting
• compatibility with utilities and appliances

In some instances, as the design evolves, we may even offer alternative solutions not previously considered.

Equally there may have been developments onsite or elsewhere which will affect the project; we will communicate, incorporate and adapt to these, in consultation and agreement with you. 

Fee: we take a deposit of £300.00 which is refundable against your order, in order to get started on these accurate design concepts.

[RIBA Stages 2,3 + 4 | Plan of Work - Design]

Order management, delivery coordination, project management and supervision, sourcing of subcontractors and consulting with the client. 

It all starts with processing your kitchen cabinets order to Italy where manufacturer to delivery estimated at between 4-6 weeks depending on the season. We’ll be mindful of summer and Christmas factory closures and build that into your project timeline.

We will liaise with your architect, builder/trades to compliment the outcome of your project.

Regular site inspections will facilitate smooth and high quality progress are maintained at all times. We will also co-operate to rectify defects should the need arise.

Fee: 60% Deposit of Total Order | 40% Balance on dispatch from Italy. 

[RIBA Stages 5 + 6 | Plan of Work - Construction, Handover & Close Out]

Checking the final finish of each component product in your kitchen is a crucial part of what we do - it’s one of the last stages of our quality control and we need to check each hinge, finish, polish, edge and installation detail.

Once complete, we hand the finished kitchen over to you. If there are any defects awaiting attention, these are communicated in a schedule and each point [if any] is signed off once, and only once, completed to your satisfaction.

As a complimentary additional service, we will liaise with you at the 6 month stage for a kitchen fitter [the same if possible] to revisit your property by arrangement in order to carry out a ‘Kitchen MOT’ in which everything will be thoroughly checked.  

Any adjustments will be madee and follow-up advice offered if any day-to-day scuffs/nicks have occurred or for general care.
