The Design Process
-
Do you have a showroom?
Yes, you're welcome to visit the design studio in Henley in Arden. It's a boutique approach which deosn't seek to seduce you with immersive displays. Instead, it's all about you and the design.
The larger the showroom, the higher price you pay, I am afraid, so I prefer the boutique approach and to put your budget to work where it matters most... in your home!
-
What do we mean by ‘Authentic’?
Inspired by the globally admired ‘Made in Italy’ brand, denoting the very best in design and quality, Studio Hamilton sets out to bring real, authentic Italian kitchen design to our customers, hand-in-hand with great British service and support.
This is not an exercise in giving a product, design or colour an Italian name in order to attract and seduce; no need. You are looking at real, genuine products, designed and manufactured in Italy; authentic Italian kitchens which have been planned, installed and supported by a great British team!
-
Do You Charge for Design?
No... and Yes.
From the initial design call to the finished first Project Brief is free of charge. By this stage you will have a good idea of our Italian kitchens, an estimate for budgeting purposes and confidence in Studio Hamilton.
At this stage the detailed design work begins and we will ask for a Design Deposit. [NB: This is offset against the final order.]
-
How much do your kitchens cost?
So much depends on the size of the kitchen and the materials and appliances etc which you would like us to work with.
As a general 'from' price, you might consider £16,000 incl appliances, quartz / porcelain tops and fitting. Rest assured that your budget won't be squandered and it will be spent where it matters most - in your home rather than contributing to extravagent displays.
Contact us for a more detailed estimate for your particular project.
The Installation Process
-
How long does it take for delivery?
From the time of confirming your order, we recommend allowing 5-6 weeks for manufacture and delivery. Therefore we would usually pencil-in installation for week 6-7.
Of course, if there is other construction work or tradesmen 'making good' on site, we can put together the best timeline to allow everyone clarity.
-
Is installation included in the price?
Installation will be quoted to you before placing your order, once the technical site survey has been completed.
Installation won't be included in your order to Studio Hamilton and we do not take any financial reward from the fitter. All our fitters are regulated by the government accreditation body - the British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom Installers [BiKBBI for short].
Studio Hamilton and BiKBBI are on hand to assist and support should you have any concerns at any stage. We also recommend the Protect My Install service which offers further peace of mind.
-
Do you offer kitchen installation?
Yes. As an official Partner of BiKBBI, the accreditation body for kitchen installation, Studio Hamilton works with trusted kitchen installers, electricians and gas specialists.
The quality of everything we do from design and manufacture through to supply depends on the highest standards of installation... and you'll find Guy, the owner, very hands-on during this process. READ MORE...
-
Can I arrange my own installation?
In principal, yes; though we do recommend using our regulated installation option.
If you decide to make your own arrangements, please let us know and we will arrange the appropriate waiver to be included in the order.
NB: tempting as it can sometimes be when preparing a budget, cutting corners on quality of installation isn't recommended.
For the record, we don't receive any reward or commission from our fitters; it is a 'not-for-profit'.

Do you have sales or offer discounts?
Studio Hamilton has a unique approach to kitchen retailing - a boutique approach which looks to make the showroom in your home. We think you'd prefer that!
No 'yo-yo' pricing with "20% Off" Summer Sales. No fake 'Black Friday' tricks. No free taps... which aren't really free at all. No appliances thrown-in when you spend £XX,000 on cabinets.
Always a fair price... all year round - that's a promise.
-
Do you offer finance?
Currently, no... most clients find it better to secure any financing privately through their bank or mortgage company.
This will likely change in the very near future with the expected launch of a payment deferral option quite soon... so do get in touch to ask for further details and an update!
Aftercare & Support
-
What is the warranty on your kitchens?
All kitchens cabinets come with a 5 year manufacturer's warranty.
Appliances come with their standard manufacturer guarantees. We are happy to assist you with registering these.
Hinges and mechanisms come with a lifetime guarantee.
-
Furniture MOT
Any remedial work arising from the original delivery and installation will be handled at the earliest possible opportunity and with minimum disruption to you.
Beyond that, should you encounter any issues with any part of the kitchen cabinetry or it's installation, we will offer one Furniture MOT, free of charge, to check every hinge and fitting to ensure all is well. Any adjustments can then be made and care suggestions shared.
-
What if the kitchen is accidentally damaged?
Don't worry too much! Kitchens are functioning spaces and it can happen - even with the most careful.
Small scuffs can probably be repaired on site. With the usual colour-match warning, doors and drawers can be replaced to order. Damage to mechanisms will need to be assessed for a repair/replace solution.
Larger accidents or repairs may come under your household insurance.
Whatever the problem, we'll be here to offer help and advice.
